Sometimes you say yes to a last minute road trip to the mountains. Last weekend I tagged along with Matty Mullins, and film makers Graham Fielder and Brock Kingsland for just that trip. It was last minute but based on how our trip went you'll never know. It was gorgeous and even though by the end we were delirious with exhaustion, no one wanted to leave. Meeting amazing creatives and getting to spend time together creating art is one of the most amazing things you can do to push your own craft, not to mention these guys were just all around amazing guys. We spent just over 24 hours hopping all over The Smokies filming, and I was there to capture it all in stills. I was exited for the chance to test out my new set up, since switching to Fuji and abandoning the DSLR world. I hadn't been able to take a proper trip with it so I was very excited. I have to say, the X-T2 is a great travel camera and pulls no punches in performance or resolution. Below is a mix of behind the scenes shots and some portraits I was able to snag along the way.
gear nerd note: I been challenging myself to simplify my kit and on this trip I shot exclusively on the 23mm f2 and the Fuji X-T2
